I am Samir Lalani from Mumbai, India. I am currently pursuing MBA (specialising in Finance).  I like making websites and managing them. Why the name – Manzeal.com

‘Manzil’ is a Hindi word meaning Final Destination. As the intention behind creating this blog is to help entrepreneurs with great zeal in their minds to reach their final destination, i.e. to their manzeal (final destination) hence the name manzeal.com

” Mr. Anil Yadavrao Gaikwad, aged 45 years, is a graduate in Production Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai (http://www.vjti.ac.in/) and post graduate in management with specialization in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies ( JBIMS ), Mumbai. (http://www.jbims.edu ) He joined IFCI Ltd. as a Management Trainee from the campus and rose to the position of Deputy General Manager in 10 years. IFCI, incorporated soon after India’s independence in 1948, is a National Level premier Financial Institution playing an important role in India for Industrial development. He worked for about seven years at Head Office of IFCI at New Delhi and about seven years at its Mumbai Regional Office. Towards the end of his tenor with IFCI, he was on deputation with IFCI Financial Services Limited (I-FIN), a wholly owned subsidiary of IFCI Limited, then engaged in Financial Advisory Services and Merchant Banking Activities, for three years and he was heading the Western Regional Office of I-FIN during his tenor from year 1999 to 2001.

At IFCI he had wide exposure in Project Financing, Merchant Banking Activities and Business Restructuring involving rehabilitation of assisted companies. He was involved in the projects of most of the big industrial houses in India such as Ispat Group, Reliance, ITC, Essar, Lloyds Steel, Hotel Leela etc.

After resigning from IFCI in 2001, Mr. Gaikwad entered into financial consultancy jointly with other professionals.

Mr. Gaikwad is engaged in Corporate Advisory Services and Loan Syndication for last eight years. His role involves pitching of assignments, analyzing the Company’s current position and advises the client about approach to be taken to achieve financial closure / rehabilitate the unit and implement the suggested approach to resolve the problems the Company is facing and subsequently implementing the suggested solution.

Mr Gaikwad has served as a Director representing IFCI on several medium and large Corporates some of which were sensitive / critical and he had discharged his role effectively.
